Things Keep Changing: Church Services Online Only (Until Further Notice)

by Thor Ramsey

Last night the governor of California mandated a "shelter-in-place" policy, which means the government is ordering citizens to stay home as much as possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

What that means for churches across California is that we are all worshipping online now. There is no more 10 or less policy.

So, this Sunday we will have live worship, our Scripture reading, receive our offering and hear the Word of God proclaimed -- all through live-streaming on Facebook. (I'll also be giving a five-minute message for the kids right before the sermon.)

Just click this link Sunday morning @ 9:30 a.m. and it will take you to our Facebook page:

You just scroll down until you see the worship service date and click WATCH. It will say: Center Church Worship Service 03-22-20

You can also get to our Facebook page from our website. The link is on the very first page:

When you're connected to our Facebook stream, click the Comment tab and type-in your last name and the number watching from your home so we can get an attendance count for Sunday.

Regarding giving, you can give right from our website ( by just clicking "Giving" on the menu bar at the top. Or you can use the church app. Or you can send a check: 23689 Cruise Circle Drive | Canyon Lake, CA 92587

Also, if you'd like some communion cups, let me know and myself or one of our elders will drop some by your home. Otherwise, we would encourage you to gather the elements (juice and bread) in your home Sunday morning so we can all partake of communion together. We want Sunday's worship to be a shared experience as much as possible.

See you Sunday Online!

Pastor Thor
